The Research Fellowships for Doctoral Scholarships and the IC&DT Projects Call for all Scientific Domains, both from FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, have new dates.
Due to the recent developments related to the SARS-CoV-2 / COVID-19 pandemic and given the containment measures being taken across the country, higher education and research institutions are closing classroom activities at their facilities.
The conditioning of the work of the scientific community – which results from constraints in the implementation of application processes for ongoing calls, both in terms of time and access to essential documentation to complete the process – led FCT to extend the deadlines for application.
These are the new deadlines for the calls :
– Research Fellowships for Doctoral Scholarships 2020 – applications until April 28
– IC&DT Projects Call for all Scientific Domains – applications until April 30
It should be added that the FCT contingency plan favors teleworking, so most of its employees are operating in this modality. Email is the preferred means of contact. On the website, contacts of services that provide information to the public are available.
