New tool to monitor the adaptation to climate change in the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon

As part of the Plan for the Adaptation to Climate Change of the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon (PMAAC – AML), the Geovisualization Platform is intended as an instrument of communication and information sharing, both for members of the project’s team and technicians from city councils, as well as for the general public.

The objective is to raise awareness of the environmental problem and to share knowledge.

The Geovisualization Platform is available here. Allowing for five functionalities (Climate, Risks, Vulnerability, Sensitivities and Impacts), it is possible to monitor strategies for adapting to climate change at regional and local levels.

The PMAAC – AML is the result of the joint activity of a consortium formed by CEDRU, WE CONSULTANTS, IGOT | CEG – ULisboa, TIS and ESRI PORTUGAL.
