Sérgio Claudino

Doctor in Human Geography, Assistant Professor at IGOT-ULisboa, where he teaches courses in Human and Regional Geography and, in the Post-Graduate course, courses in Didactics of Geography and teacher training. Coordinator of the Master in Geography Teaching at the University of Lisbon. He coordinates the IGOT-UL Teacher Training Center.
Member of the Board of the CEG between 2002 and 2010. Integrated Researcher of the Dynamics and Urban and Regional Policies Group ZOE/CEG. Founded in 2011 and coordinates the Project Nós Propomos! Citizenship and Innovation in Geographic Education, disseminated in Portugal, Mozambique and in several countries in Iberoamerica. He founded (2008) and is a member of the Board of the GEOFORO-Foro Iberoamericano de Educação, Geografia e Sociedade (http://geoforo.blogspot.com). He collaborates with the Higher Education Assessment and Accreditation Agency/A3ES. Member of the Spatial Planning and Environment Section of the Lisbon Geography Society, which he has presided over. He has carried out internships at European universities and research institutions. He has titles published at home and abroad. He has supervised several master’s and doctoral dissertations, mainly on the teaching of Geography. He was a Visiting Professor at Brazilian universities
