Biosketch
PhD in Physical Geography (2012), is Assistant Professor in the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning of University of Lisbon, and researcher in the CEG RISKam – Research Group on Environmental Hazard and Risk Assessment and Management. Its activities are related to natural hazards and risk assessment, as well their application in spatial management, people and structures safety. Researcher in international and national projects, of which we highlight those related to coastal hazards and sea level rise consequences, landslides risk assessment and early warning and multihazard analysis and climatic change adaptation. Is engaged in several community’s services related with territorial management plans and civil protection. Editorial board member of the Finisterra Journal. Scholar community relations are mainly developed by awareness actions and training of the school community to safe behaviours and as a member of the coordination committee of the, We Propose! Project.
