Biosketch

Has a bachelor’s degree in Geography and a master’s degree in GIS and Spatial Planning, both completed in the Faculty of Arts (University of Porto). Presently, his concluding his PhD degree in Transportation Systems, in Instituto Superior Técnico (University of Lisbon). In addition, had the opportunity to develop the thesis in the University of California – Santa Barbara, as a visiting-student.

His research is focused on transportation, urbanism, urban sprawl, accessibility, equity and social inequity where the components of space and cartography are always present.

Finally, it has multiple skills related with the fields of GIS, Modelling and Econometrics. Besides doing the research integrated in the ZOE lab, pretends to develop specific works related with urban analytics.
