Biosketch
Researcher at the Center for Geographical Studies, a research unit of the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning (University of Lisbon), where he is also an assistant professor. At the Center for Geographical Studies, he is part of the ZEPHYRUS-Climate Change and Environmental Systems research group. He has participated in more than a dozen research projects, mainly focused on the study of natural hazards, climatic extremes, and climate change. As author or co-author, he has published in scientific journals such as Applied Geography, Climatic Change, International Journal of Climatology, International Journal of Biometeorology, Climate Research, and Journal of Hydrology.
