Biosketch
Luis Encalada-Abarca joined the Centre for Geographical Studies in 2017. Currently, he is a PhD Candidate in Geography, Geographic Information Science, at the University of Lisbon. He is a fellow of the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, and the University of Lisbon. His research interests include: Tourism geographies, Urban Tourism, and Tourism planning. He is an expert in the analysis of geospatial data, and spatial modeling. He has published in the main scientific journals in the fields of tourism and geography, and has collaborated as a guest reviewer for international scientific journals.
