Master in Physical Geography by the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning of the University of Lisbon (IGOT-ULisboa), she developed her master’s thesis with the study of the ground thermal regime and permafrost temperature in the Barton Peninsula, King George Island (Antarctica). She collaborated, within the PERMANTAR project, in the installation of a new borehole for monitoring permafrost, inserted in the Global Terrestrial Network for Permafrost, and in the installation of a set of 20 sensors for monitoring ground surface temperature.
