Biosketch
Researcher at CEG/IGOT – University of Lisbon and Guest Assistant Professor at the Estoril Higher School of Hospitality and Tourism, she has been teaching in the areas of Tourism, Communication and Heritage for over 20 years. She works in the areas of Tourism, Wine Tourism, Social Responsibility and Local Development and collaborates in Master’s and Doctoral courses having supervised national and foreign theses. She holds a PhD in Geography from the Faculty of Arts of the U.Lisboa, has held positions of Coordination and Direction in higher education institutions and is the author of several scientific articles in national and international journals, books, book chapters such as Anatólia, Encyclopedia of Tourism by Springfield, the Lusophone Journal of Cultural Studies, Turismo & Desenvolvimento or the Dictionary of Professional and Applied Geography – Terminologia de analisis planificacion y gestíón del territorio (Universidad de Leon).
