Biosketch
Researcher at the TERRiTUR research group since 2013. Senior lecturer at the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies (ESHTE) where she teaches Cultural Management and Programming, Cultural and Urban Tourism, Communication and Culture, Urban Cultures and Sensorial Tourism, Project in Events and Tourism Entertainment, Food Cultures and English. She has been appointed as an external evaluator for different research projects. She has presented more than 60 talks at international conferences and she is the author of more 30 publications, including the book Reinventing a Small, Worldly City: The Cultural and Social Transformation of Cardiff, published in 2017 by Routledge, Taylor & Francis Group. She has been the recipient of more than 20 grants, awards and special mentions awarded by renowned institutions (European Cultural Foundation, Europa Nostra Awards, ENCATC, FCT, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Marie Curie Actions, Luso-American Foundation, among others). She is also a collaborator at CiTUR – Centre for Research, Innovation and Development in Tourism.
