The project PHOENIX Retail-Led Urban Regeneration and the New Forms of Governance, affiliated to the research group ZOE – Urban and Regional Dynamics and Policies of the Center of Geographical Studies, hosted Helena Villarejo Galende (University of Valladolid) and Maria Luisa Pardo (University of Girona) on February 11th.

These two researchers made a communication titled “Business Improvement Districts (BID) – Experiences and perspectives in Spain ”. The meeting focused on deepening the knowledge of the BID model in different contexts. The session was also attended by representatives of partner institutions, namely the DGAE, at the Lisbon City Hall, and the “Bairro em Movimento” Association.
