XI Conferência do IGOT
Decorreu no dia 23 de outubro, a XI Conferência do IGOT sob o tema As Cidades do Novo Milénio e os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável. Nela participaram oradores da instituição e oradores convidados que abordaram vários temas, desde a mobilidade à pobreza, passando pela alimentação e agricultura sustentável, alterações climáticas, economia, riscos, entre outros. A Conferência contou ainda com a presença de dois Keynote speakers: Pietro Elisei, director da URBASOFIA/expert da UE e da ONU, com a apresentação Sustainable Development Reloaded: Cities as Factories of Innovative and Shared Solutions e Gerald Mills, Professor da University College Dublin, que abordou o tema Cities and Climate Change.
