The webinar series COVID-19: (Cons)Ciência Geográfica (a play on conscience and science) is focused on geographical analysis regarding COVID-19 impact within Portugal. The series is promoted by the Centre of Geographical Studies (IGOT-ULisboa). The 4th online session, open to the public, takes place on May 20th, at 4 p.m.
This fourth session will be focused on Environment and Climate Change: opportunities following COVID-19. The panel consists of Helena Freitas (Center for Functional Ecology, University of Coimbra), Joana Portugal Pereira (COPPE / UFRJ and Center for Environmental Policy, Imperial College London), Luísa Schmidt (Institute of Social Sciences, ULisboa), Ricardo Trigo (Dom Luiz Institute, ULisboa) and António Lopes (Center of Geographical Studies, IGOT-ULisboa). The moderator is Gonçalo Vieira (Center of Geographical Studies, IGOT-ULisboa).
