Sérgio Guerreiro holds a degree in Economics, from Universidade Lusíada and a MSc in Public Management and Administration from ISCSP-UTL, School of Social and Political Sciences (Univ. of Lisbon). He is currently a PhD candidate at Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning, University of Lisbon. He is researcher at University of Lisbon’s CEG-UL-TERRITUR and his research interests are urban tourism, tourism competitiveness and destinations management.
Assistant Lecturer at Universidade Europeia since 2007, teaching Introduction to Tourism, Tourism Planning and Sustainable Development.
He has over 20 years of experience in the field of tourism, working as a policy analyst and Director at Turismo de Portugal. Vice-Chair at OECD’s Tourism Committee’s Bureau.
