Coordinator of the following research projects: MapRisk – Methodologies for assessing landslide hazard and risk applied to municipal planning (2008-11); DISASTER – GIS database on hydro-geomorphologic disasters in Portugal: a tool for environmental management and emergency planning (2010-13). Coordinator of the Risk and Civil Protection teams within the Territorial Management Regional Plans of the West and Tagus valley and the Lisbon Metropolitan Area.
