Biosketch
Currently a PhD student at IGOT and Marie Curie early-stage researcher, Franz is part of the FP7 INTEGRIM project “Integration and international migration: pathways and integration policies”. His research lies at the intersection between migration and urban studies and addresses the question of migrant spatial integration as a product of the use of Lisbon city spaces. Franz has a Research Masters’ degree delivered by a joint program in sociology of migration having written about migrants’ home-making practices.
