IGOT-Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning | CEG-Center for Geographical Studies, in partnership with Arquivo.pt (FCCN – Fundação para a Computação Científica Nacional), organized and hosted the webinar Arquivo.pt – a new tool for research in the digital age. This video results from the session that took place on May 5, 2020.

Paulo Morgado writes about the utility of this service for research and for the scientific community:
Arquivo.pt is a technological-digital service that has preserved web content since 1996. Millions of archived web pages, so that content is not lost. The contents are searchable and can be extracted for the purposes of memory and research. There are countless scientific areas that can benefit from this service. For example, researchers can track the contents (content data mining) and map, according to themes or domains of knowledge”.
